CARE GUIDE

Dry-clean recommended, especially for the first few washes — protects both the tussar silk and the delicate Kantha embroidery.

If washing at home, do very gentle hand-wash in cold water using mild silk-safe detergent.

Do not soak; Kantha threads may loosen or bleed if left in water.

Never wring — press water out softly.

Dry in shade; avoid direct sunlight to preserve silk sheen and thread colours.

Iron on low heat, keeping a thin cloth on top; avoid pressing directly on Kantha stitches.

Store in a muslin/silk bag; keep in a cool, dry space.

Air occasionally; avoid naphthalene touching the silk — use neem leaves or silica gel instead.

Keep away from moisture, perfumes, and deodorants — tussar absorbs easily.
